Bake for 45minutes on medium heat, or till a toothpick inserted in the centre of both comes out clean. Remove from heat & run a knife round the edges & allow to cool a bit before removing from the pans, poke holes in the cake using a skewer & pour the chocolate & coffee syrup over the cakes, & then allow to cool.
- For the syrup, dissolve 3tsps of coffee in 1tbsp of hot water, add 2tbsps cocoa powder, & 1/2-1cup of icing sugar, mix & place on low heat, stirring till desired texture is achieved.
