  5. Take curd in a bowl and mix soda to it. Mix well so that the fizz arise well. Mix this to the rested batter. Mix well.
  6. Spread this well in a greased tin.
  7. Over the batter, spread the tempering. For it heat oil in a pan. Crackle jeera, mustard seeds and sauf. Put flame off and put little chilli flakes and spread evenly over cake batter.
  8. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for the time till it gets brown outside (it took me 22 minutes). It might vary with different microwaves and ovens.
  9. Let it cool and demould. Cut and serve with tea.. As a snack… With chutney and ketchup or aiwai 😊
