This Red Velvet cake was definitely not what I expected. It could be that I have no experience with Red Velvet cake but with this recipe the cake was much to heavy. The Icing was bland and honestly tasted like flour. Overall the cake was nothing special.

Steps to make Red velvet cake:
  1. Firstly sieve all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda.
  2. In a bowl add sugar, curd and mix well.
  3. Now add milk, malai and red food colour.
  4. Mix properly.
  5. Now add dry ingredients in it.
  6. Mix well cut and fold method.
  7. Grease the mould with butter and pour the batter in the mould.
  8. Now bake the cake in preheated oven at 180°c for 40 minutes.
  9. After 40 minutes check the cake with toothpick.
  10. Let it cool completely.
  11. Cut the cake into four equal parts.
  12. Crumble the one part of a cake.
  13. Now spread whipped cream on each cake part and arrange one by one.
  14. Now sprinkle crumbled cake top of the cake and sides of the cake.
  15. Arrange chopped strawberry and serve the red velvet cake.
  16. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
