- Prepare 3 cup milk
- Prepare For Milk Mixture
- Make ready 3 cup ( 750ml) Milk
- Get 3 tbsp Sugar
- Prepare 1/2 tbsp. Cardamom/ elaichi powder
- Take 10-2 Kesar/saffron - strands (optional)
- Get 2.5 tbsp. cornflour in 1/2 cup milk
- Make ready 1/2 cup cream or fresh malai

Instructions to make Milk malai cake:
- For Sugar Cyrup. Take a pan add water, after few minutes when it get little warm add 1/2 cup of sugar and food colour. Food colour is optional. Cook till sugar dissolves.
- For Milk Mixture Take another pan for milk mixture. Add 2.5 cup milk Add Sugar 3tblspn or according to taste Cardamom/ elaichi powder 1/2 tbsp. Saffron/kesar 10-12 strands (optional) Mix it well
- Add cream/ fresh malai 1/2 cup in mixture Let it heat on Medium flame Add 2.5 tbsp. of cornflower in 1/2 cup milk (which is left), mix it well and keep aside. Cook on low medium flam till mixture start thicken while continuously stirring After a while, Milk has thickened. It must be in coating consistency Turn off the flame
- Lets get assemble now. Take a square shaped glass bowl Make a layer of Rusk/ sooji biscuit in full bowl Second layer: warm sugar syrup, With the help of spoon spread all over the rusks Third layer: prepared milk mixture on the rusk Now garnish coconut on it (optional) Make another same layer again with same steps At last, garnish with your favourite dryfruits. Keep it in the fridge now for 2-2.5hrs.
- After 2.5hrs, take out from the fridge Cut out with the knife now like we use to cut the cake or dhokla. Serve now.. Enjoy your malai cake Just a amazing dessert.. no one says 'No' to this. #WMC #Cookingwithlavnya.
