- Start by greesing the baking tray. Next preheat oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Next take 1/2 cup milk, into it squeeze lemon juice and mix. Keep aside, it curdles. Now in a mixing bowl, put jaggery powder.
- Add oil, salt and mix.
- Add curdled milk and whip mix till it dissolves.
- As jaggery powder is dissolved, take a sieve. Sieve down wheat flour, baking soda and baking powder.
- Into that add the most important component for flavour and aroma "CARDAMOM".
- Now mix it in one direction, by cut and fold method. Add the curdled milk and mix. Add normal milk to adjust consistency.
- When you get perfect cake batter, pour the batter into the greased baking dish.Garnish with cashewnuts.
- Put for baking. Bake for 25 minutes. Check if required bake 5 minutes more. Then poke and check. Knife must come out clean. As it's done, take out and let cool. Demould then.
