- Firstly take Bourbon biscuits in a mixer grinder jar and grind it to a powder.
- Take a big vessel (kadhai/ Idli cooker or any big vessel). Fill 1/4 vessel with water, keep a stand in the center of the vessel and switch on the gas on medium flame. Heat the water on medium flame.
- Remove the biscuits powder in a mixing bowl. Gradually add milk to get smooth flowing consistency batter. Make sure no lumps are there. Add eno and add very little milk on eno. Bubbles will come out. Gently mix the batter in one direction. Pour the batter in small greased tin or cooker vessel. I have taken 5 inches cooker vessel. Sprinkle chopped nuts on all over the batter evenly. You can also use chocolate chips.
- Put the tin/vessel carefully inside the vessel which is already kept on gas with water. Close with the lid and allow it to cook on low to medium flame for 30 mins. Switch off the flame and let it cool completely.
- Demould the cake and enjoyy!
- Ready to serve and ENJOY!

It has never come across my mind to touch steam cake, I dun really fancy those traditional steam sponge cake. So to me, steamed cake taste the same which is not my cup of tea.
