- Sweat onions and bell pepper until soft
- Add crab meat, eggs, green onions, parsley, lemon juice, zest, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and blk pepper to bowl
- Add cream and about 2 cup of panko until cakes are dry enough to mold
- Portion at 2.5oz and mold into 2" tall cylinders
- Ready to serve and ENJOY!
Place remaining bread crumbs in a shallow bowl. I know I have posted a Crab Cake recipe before, but that was for low-carb crab cakes, and this is a little different. Using fresh ingredients and minimal fillers, these Crab Cakes makes this recipe healthy, light, and easy. Scoop the crab cake mix using a large ice cream/disher scoop (or a small-medium cookie scoop for smaller, mini crab cakes!). Add the mix directly to the hot oil in the skillet and press down on the back with a spatula to flatten them.
